Take A Break – Chemistry Jokes

tongue-stretch-out.jpg

“A female student wished to make some potassium hydroxide solution (aqueous)and decided to throw a large lump of potassium into a bucket of water. Her professor observed what she was about to do, out of the corner of his eye and hurried towards her, and after confirming this was what she was intending to do, asked her first to stir the water in the bucket for five minutes before adding the potassium. She was puzzled and ran after him to ask the purpose of this action.

‘It will give me time to get away’ said the professor.”

Moral of the Joke: –> bases on Metals & Reactivity Series, Potassium (K) is very reactive. In fact, it explodes with water.

Take A Break – Lost in Maze 2?

Halo Students locally,

Most of you must be mugging for your Mid-Year Examinations which is around the corner. You have been doing well, keep up the good work!

I do understand that you might be nervous as you have to sit for so many examinations (i.e.different subjects) within a week or two. Be confident and be focus. Do not let this ‘butterfly in your stomache’ effect affect your mood.

Below is the 2nd part of the “Lost in Maze” series – a simple game that can help you develop a sense of focus and confidence. Try it out!

Rule: Find the only yellow orange path linking the arrow in the outer circle with the one in the centre.

Take A Break – Lost in Maze?

Halo Students,

It will be another 10 days before your Mid-Year examinations will start. You must be very busy preparing your revision for it. If you feel abit up-tight about the coming examinations, i would just want to ask you to try your very best for it. Give it your best shot – to see where you stand (in terms of your understanding) for Preliminary Examinations in October.

Below is a game called the Ladybird. You need to “find only black path linking the two black spots on the ladybird’s back”. This type of game can help you develop a sense of focus, patience and a mastery of confidence. Go try it out. Leave me a comment if you wanna me to show you the answer to it.
