Hi Abeera Umar,

Thanks for gracing this humble chemistry blogsite - that was started with the primary aim of revitalising the interest of students (globally) towards Chemistry, from the "abstract boring theories" to "interesting concepts of chemistry that are related to everyday lifes.

Check out the rest of the blogposts. If you are specifically looking for academic chemistry questions and answers based on exam-based questions. Check out "Chemistry Qns & Ans" under CATEGORY located on the right hand side of the blog.

I look forward to you joining us in the discussion of chemistry exam-based questions.

To Your Academic Success in Chemistry,
Sean

Hi Weide,

I am glad that you are taking actions to improve your Chemistry Concepts.

Conduction of electricity for Ionic Compds in Molten or Aqueous States are indeed based on FREE MOVING IONS, and not free moving electrons that you have mentioned above.

Check out my latest blogpost to verify my suggestion, and the reasons for it.

To Your Academic Success in Chemistry,
Sean

Hi. You stated that the phrase 'free moving electrons' is incorrect, so may I know if I'm right if I said 'mobile valence electrons'? I think this phrase is written in the chem textbook if I didn't remember wrongly. Hahas. I hope you can clear my doubt. Thanks! =)
