Many of my friends (many from the Research Chemical Industry) and students always asked me this question when they see me:
“What Keeps You Continuously & Religiously Blogging About Chemistry Tips, Phenomenons & Exam Strategies?”
“Why don’t you spend your time coaching more students through more classes and workshops?”
“Don’t you feel tired committing your time to stay in front of computer to blog so regularly?” etc…
Very good questions they asked..Yes..there are times i was contemplating to stop blogging so religiously..especially whenever i received Negative Comments and Abuses from some readers negative chaps out there….not sure their purpose thou…
Over the last 12 years, I have helped many students on 1-on-1 Customized Coaching, Small Group Coaching, Concepts Classes, Topic-based Mastery Workshops and Intensive Revision Bootcamps. The size gets bigger and bigger and i am helping more and more students..but there is still this thing known as Size-Constraint and Geographical-Constraint.
Without this Chemistry Blogsite, i will not be able to realise my goals of reaching out to ALL Chemistry Students and helping them globally…i suppose the internet (via blog) is one of the best platform i can do so.
Besides that, there are also many encouragements that i received from readers of this blog: parents, students, educators, scientists, researchers, etc..and whenever i received such Positive Comments from them, it is always the HIGHLIGHT of my day.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those that have sent me encouraging words for the last 3 months (Jan – March 09):
Dear Sean Chua,
Thank you very much but unfortunately I am unable to attend the workshop. It becomes difficult for me to come due to transport fares from Uganda to that end. I appreciate for the efforts you have so far made (in your blog) to make my daughter pass CHEM!!
Thank you very much.
Regards,
Mum, Uganda
Dear Sir,
Thank You for providing those information. I have been really benefited a lot.

Hi Sean,
Thank you very much for your instruction on balancing chemical formulas. It was very helpful; I always use the best of all my instruction to solve any question in my studies.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for all the effort you have made.
thanks, Sasha.
I’m in Tyler, Tx. And thanks so much for your help. I’m taking A & P on line for the first time (and hopefully the only time). I have no background in Chemistry and teaching the little bit involved in A & P has been challenging.
When I read your answer I thought to myself what an idiot I am…an ion has a + or – charge. Anyway you helped a big piece of the puzzle fall into place for me….Thanks
I live in Tyler, Texas in the United States. I had no idea you were out of the country!! The internet truly has made the world into a global community.
A & P is anatomy and physiology. I’ll be certain to recommend your website to my friends.
Kimberley Palomo, United States

Hey hi there Sean

Hm. I bumped into your website on simplechemconcepts. I thought you had effective solutions to students needing help in Chem. This is because I’m retaking my Sci(Phy/Chem) O’level this year as a private candidate tho’ i already got into Poly. Noted down a few of your good pointers which i think is really helpful.
Thanks for everything! & i hope you have a wonderful future ahead.
Sasa

Hi Sean,
Thank you. Unfortunately, my brother has not been able to view the video solutions completely for extraction of metals. I hope the problem can be solved.
My brother has told me that you have a very clear voice and he could follow your solutions well.

Emma
Thanks for providing me with useful info for my chem!

I’m not taking Chemistry anymore. But the tips that I received in my E-Mail inbox did help, so thank you

Hereby, I would like to thank you again very much for all of you guidance and hard work that you have put in for my PRINCE, Marcus Goh who got a “A2” for his ‘O’ Level Chemistry from C6 (Prelims) in less then 6 months. Marcus told me that he does enjoy very much the way you teach, easy understanding, you always finds analogies and everyday examples to relate to the Chemistry Concepts in order for him to learn effectively.
I will definitely highly recommend you to my friends and anyone about your teaching – A GOOD TUTOR, Sean Chua, who is very friendly, approachable and willingly to give great guidance and puts in extra effort for their students and helps them score “A”. Yeah! My Prince Marcus Goh is a good example.
Thanks a lot! Sean
Best Regards,
Celes
Hi Sean
Thank you for constantly reaching out to me and my son Martin.
Martin’s participation in the Chemistry Camp and and Organic Chemistry Workshop has certainly helped him a lot. I could safely say it gave him the confidence in tackling chemistry problems in his “O” level exam. Martin is now in College studying Physics and Chemistry.
I will recommend you to whoever wants to improve his study in Chemistry.
Warmest rgds
Sam
Hi Sean
We are back in Mauritius after a successful business/holiday trip to Singapore. I wish to thank you for putting Nikhil back on track with regards to Chemistry–he is working constantly on the chemistry chapters you taught and practicing a lot on calculations.
He attempted succesfully the number which you explained to him the last day. We look forward to have your continued support over e-mails and meet probably by April 2009.
Thank you once again for your excellent teaching methodology and all the best.
Best regards
Ram
If you have sent me an email but did not see your “kind words” above, it is because the list just gets too long, i can only managed to show selected few: Selection done by my assistant (so that i am fair..hee) on a random basis.
Thank you everyone for your support and trust!
Stay tuned for more O Level Chemistry Tips, Phenomenons and Exam Strategies!
