Hi student,
Learning subjects are like playing games, you need to know the rules of the games in order to play them well with good strategies certainly.
Physics:
– Know definition well
– Know the formulae
– Know about Units conversion
Units conversion will help rmbr Formulae, and in turn, help to rmbr most of the definitions.
This is a skill that some school teachers have ceased to impart.
Chemistry:
– Most Interesting of all 3 Sciences.
– Dont really have to memorise much (except QA for O Level). Rest are just based on simple concepts, and observations in life. Let’s just open our minds and eyes.
– Do not skip simple chapters, bcos they will be the strings to tie up all the “more difficult” chapters. They are impt.
– Need to link them to everyday life. Indeed Chemistry is everywhere around us, if you are aware of it.

Where are you from?
To do well in Mole Calculations/Concepts, you would need to be good in the following:
1) Define Relative Atomic Mass, Molecular Mass and their calculation using Periodic Table
2) Calculate % Mass of an element in a compound
3) Calculate the Empirical & Molecular Formulae from data
4) Calculate stoichiometric reacting masses and volumes of gases
5) Apply the concepts of Solution Concentration (in mol/dm3 or g/dm3) to process the results of volumetric experiments and to solve problems
6) Calculate % Yield and % Purity
Once you have learned the basic essential concepts of the methods on the above 6 points, you will find out that Mole Calculations/Mole Concepts is not that tough.
Rest is just be very careful when you are calculating to find the final answer.

Hello “My Life”,
Contrary to the wrong belief by many chemistry students (that chemistry need alot of memorization), we do not really have to memorise so much.
Once you understand the essential concepts where the Chemistry Theories came from, you will realise that Chemistry is in fact so fun to attempt.
Once you have a strong foundation of the essential concepts, suddenly you will realised that “abstract boring theories” have become “interesting chemistry concepts that are related to our EVERYDAY LIFES).
So the important thing to score in chemistry exams is to build up your essential concepts, and then used them to answer application questions.
