Dec Holidays ‘O’ Levels Chemistry Headstart & Revision Mastery Workshops – Successful Completion

With Dec 2009 coming to an end, we have successfully conducted the following December Holidays Chemistry Mastery Workshops for GCE ‘O’ Levels & IP students:

1) Chemistry Headstart Workshop (for Sec 3 2010 students)

Chemistry Headstart 1

2) Atomic Structure & Chemical Bondings Mastery Workshop

(for Sec 4 2010 students)

Atomic Structure & Chemical Bondings 1

3) Acids, Bases & Preparation of Salts Mastery Workshop

(for Sec 4 2010 students)

Acids Bases & Salts 1

The workshops were fun-filled and extremely exciting for me to coach an almost totally new group of students from 22 different secondary schools which are geographically spread over all parts of Singapore.

  • Anglican High School
  • Cedar Girls School
  • Choa Chu Kang Secondary School
  • Chung Cheng High School (Main)
  • Gan Eng Seng Secondary School
  • Jun Yuan Secondary School
  • Methodist Girls School
  • Nanhua High School
  • Outram Secondary School
  • Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School
  • Raffles Girl’s School
  • Singapore Chinese Girls School
  • St. Gabriel Secondary School
  • St. Margaret Secondary School
  • St. Hilda Secondary School
  • St. Joseph Institution
  • Tanjong Katong Girls School
  • Teck Whye Secondary School
  • Unity Secondary School
  • Victoria School
  • Whitley Secondary School

It is a pleasant surprise to know that we have coached students from more than 80 Secondary schools in Singapore as well as a couple of students that have flown in from overseas i.e. Mauritius, etc – making differences to their lives.

It is a joy to know that many of these students know our former participants (workshops or weekly classes) that has graduated from our coaching, either their seniors or in the same CCAs in school. For those students and parents that recommended and referred their friends to us, i would like to take this opportunity to say a BIG Thank You! for the Trust & Belief in our coaching methodologies.

In the next 2 – 3 weeks, i will blog about the common mistakes that the students made in the holiday workshops. With those mistakes clearly pointed out, you can then be aware of it and avoid such mistakes / misconceptions at all cost. I will also take the chance to show you what examiners are really looking out for in your answers for Chemistry papers. If you are eager to find out what are the common mistakes that students made year after year, as well as a quick resource book on what examiners are looking out for in your answers – you can read about Up Your Chemistry Grades Now – a book that has been specially written for GCE ‘O’ Levels / IGCSE / IP students.

PS: For those that missed out the Dec Holiday workshops – you can still be coached by us! Check out 2010 weekly Chemistry Classes! Limited Seats!
