In the previous blog post, we have watched a video on the common methods to measure the rate of a chemical reaction and also how to draw and describe a rate graph.
Today, i would like to share with you a video on the 5 factors that can affect the rate of a chemical reaction, namely:
- Surface Area (of a solid reactant)
- Concentration (of an aqueous solution reactant)
- Pressure (of a gaseous reactant)
- Temperature (any chemical reactions)
- Catalysts (suitable one)
I would also share with you on the importance of Collision Theory and how by changing one of the factors listed above will cause an increase or decrease on the rate of a chemical reaction.
