The following results were obtained in an experiment to determine the formula of an oxide of silicon.
Mass of crucible (empty) = 15.20g
Mass of crucible + silicon = 15.48g
Mass of crucible + oxide of silicon = 15.80g
a) Find the empirical formula of the oxide of silicon
b) If the Mr of the oxide of silicon is 60, what is its molecular formula?
